Because I switched to Linux it took me quite some time to actually produce some proper music again. But all the doodling and generating ideas on my Reface CP has payed off. I've now also switched to Bitwig. This was a fun and short (about 11 days) practice run with Bitwig before working with my synths again (which mostly requires a bit more time). I've listened to a lot of 90s techno, rave, trance and house music over the last years and wanted to process that influence with this EP. Every track has an inspiration. Sometimes it's just generally stylistic and sometimes specific elements. This is the list of references and some of my favourite songs:
